Our family recently moved into our ‘forever’ home on a large sloping block in a sought-after location adjacent to beautiful bushland near the Coomera River. With two young children, we had grand plans of a home that would foster many happy memories, but we were overwhelmed by the enormity of the task, and quickly identified that expert assistance was required to help us bring the dreams into a reality.
We contacted Jamie after he came highly recommended from a local landscaper. Temple Outdoor Design & Living visited the site, discussed our wishes, developed concept designs, and delivered landscape plans with earthworks, infrastructure, and planting recommendations.
Thanks to Temples’s plans, our home has been transformed from average to a more desirable home in the suburb. Jamie maximised our use of the block, he provided views of the city and the bush, and our backyard is now a location for friends and family to meet and connect. Jamie has designed a fabulous pool, pool house and landscape for our forever house in Noosaville. From initial discussions, he guided us in decisions that have worked out functionally and aesthetically. Our pool and most of the landscaping is complete and the pool house under construction. I am extremely happy to recommend Temple Outdoor Design & Livings design services. We clicked from the very first meeting and Jamie made the project his own, which suited us very well. He was always polite and on time during the innumerable site visits and patiently explained to us every step of the way. Our project was highly complex due to the large and elevated nature of the block, but Temple produced a stunning design that made use of every square inch available. He transformed what was once a dense bushland slope and dilapidated pool into a stunning work of art that we are now so proud of.
The project took just over 2 years from the initial planning to completion, and Jamie took over the project management, which was not an easy task due to complex issues with council, mining subsidence and bushfire zoning. He then recommended numerous highly skilled builders and other contractors, all of whom we were very happy with.
Temple Outdoor Design & Living relocated their office to Queensland prior to the project being completed, but despite this, they still kept in regular touch with us as the owners, but also with the various other contractors to ensure the project progressed smoothly.
Overall, we are highly satisfied clients and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone thinking about a big landscaping job!
